Who is eligible to apply for the Mobile Crisis Intern position?
Individuals currently enrolled in a Master's Program with an emphasis in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, and other behavioral health specialties are eligible to apply.
What are the preferred qualifications for applicants?
Preferred applicants should have prior experience working in Crisis and must be currently enrolled in a supervised field instruction class.
What are the operation hours for the Crisis department?
The operation hours are flexible as the Crisis department operates 24/7, with a preference for at least one weekday per week.
What skills will the student intern develop during the program?
The student intern will gain a strong understanding of the community behavioral health system, crisis assessment skills, and crisis intervention skills, as well as improved interaction and coordination with community stakeholders.
What attributes are desirable for applicants?
Applicants should possess compassion and a desire to serve others, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong presentation skills.
What is required for the pre-student/Intern/Practicum onboarding process?
The onboarding process may include a criminal background check and a pre-employment drug screen, at the discretion of Terros Health.
Do applicants need a Fingerprint Clearance card?
Yes, applicants must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for one (Level 1) within 7 working days of assuming the role.
