Responsibilities

Our ten week Summer Internship programme is designed to provide you with a unique insight into investment banking. Starting off with technical training, you’ll gain a deep understanding of our products and markets. Then armed with this knowledge, you will have the opportunity to join Product Control.
Product Control plays a key role in both supporting and controlling the revenue generating functions of the business.
The department’s key responsibilities include:
P&L reporting, attribution & commentary
Independent price verification
Reserving methodologies, including provisions, valuation adjustments and prudential capital reserves
Ensuring the correct controls and processes are in place to manage new and existing products
Working within Product Control will provide you with the opportunity to work with employees from across the organisation and develop in-depth product knowledge covering a wide range of products including Interest Rates, FX, Credit, Equity and Hybrids, including vanilla and exotics portfolios
As part of a select intake, you will have the opportunity to learn from some of the best professionals in the industry and will be allocated a buddy to make sure you have all the support to get the most out of the summer internship.
Our Summer Internship Programme acts as a pipeline for our full time Analyst programme and a successful summer intern may receive an offer to join our full time Analyst Programme the following year.
