Description

  • Delaware North Sportservice is hiring Concessions Interns to join our team at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for the 2024 baseball season. As a Concessions Intern, you will assist the Concessions team with training team members, stand operations, including inventory management on event and non-event days.
  • By participating in our internship program, you will gain valuable work experience, develop your leadership capabilities, and make an impact on the business. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Enrolment at an accredited college or university pursuing a Business Administration, Hospitality or degree preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly motivated, ability to take initiative.
  • Flexible schedule.
  • Physical Requirements :
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Constant lifting, twisting, reaching, bending, and repetitive motions.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating activities of concession associates on a per shift basis, including enforcing work procedures and service standards
  • Support with associate check-in on event days.
  • Ensures that all equipment is set up properly and operating efficiently and accurately in stands and portables.
  • May assist in running a stand, portable or supervising a level.
  • Analyzes and resolves all problems with associates, guests, and the operation with the assistance of management.
  • Helps with monthly inventory.
  • Perform end-of-event tasks, including the closing of stands and transaction reports.
  • All other duties assigned.
