Requirements

  • Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a BS in Engineering: Mechanical, Optical, or Manufacturing
  • Skills:
  • Solid understanding of optics
  • Siemens NX or comparable 3D modeling
  • ME10 or comparable 2D drafting
  • GD&T drafting standards
  • Ability to work with other teams

Responsibilities

  • This position is an exciting opportunity for anyone that enjoys mechanical engineering, optics, and state-of-the-art manufacturing technology. Primary responsibility is to design and support optical manufacturing processes. Responsibilities will include process design and documentation, interfacing with production and engineering teams, defining necessary tooling for manufacturing. Machines include CNC laser cutter/engravers, CNC surface grinders, and manual fabrication tools. Clear communication through documentation and careful working method are a necessity.
