Requirements

Enrolled in a college/university program, preferably with concentration in Sports Administration / Sport Management, journalism or communications.
Shows a keen curiosity about advancing Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in sport.
Experience working with a sports & entertainment company or schooling in the sports & entertainment industry is an asset
Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Ensure confidentiality when it comes to private information.
Demonstrates organizational and interpersonal skills
Experience with project management in either professional, academic/school, or community settings.
Comfortable working with flexible hours/work schedule which could expand to weekends and evenings
Knowledge of hockey at both the professional and community levels is an asset

Responsibilities

Assist with planning and execution of Toronto Maple Leafs theme nights and arena take overs. (Example. National Day for Truth and Reconciliation game).
Assist with sourcing resources needed for Culture and Inclusion departmental events.
Assist with coordinating Toronto Maple Leafs Culture and Inclusion social content shoots.
Assist in the execution of all Toronto Maple Leafs Culture and Inclusion initiatives, internally and within the community.
Provide administrative support front office staff.
Provide secondary support on various team events throughout season.
