  • Studying for a qualifying law degree (LLB).
  • 2 years completed – placement between 2nd & 3rd study years.
  • Academic grades on track for a First or High 2:1 in their chosen studies.
  • Must have strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 and proficient in written/spoken English.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate a growth mindset.
  • High attention to detail, reliability, and adaptability.
  • Possess advanced communication and multitasking skills.
  • Organised and proactive with planning and prioritisation.
  • Must have a ‘can do’ attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and updating contractual templates to reflect changes in legislation.
  • Assisting with drafting commercial contracts.
  • Identifying and implementing necessary changes in business processes to reflect regulatory change.
  • Drafting Internal policy documentation, briefing notes, and training materials to educate the business on legal issues.
  • Carrying out Due diligence and taking steps to mitigate risk, as part of the compliance function.
  • Participation in additional stand-alone team projects.
  • Any other duties that may be reasonably requested by your manager.
  • Conducting research via legal research websites.
