Requirements

  • Currently working towards a Bachelor’s, Master’s, of Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field
  • Experience with at least one scripting and system analysis language such as Python and/or Matlab
  • Basic knowledge of Machine Learning, Signal Processing, or Algorithm Development
  • Ability to manipulate and analyze complex, large scale, high-dimensionality data from varying sources
  • Dedication to a collaborative, respectful, accountable and inquisitive working style and work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Apply machine learning to existing RFID solutions that use rule based algorithms. In particular we would like you to:
  • Characterize the performance of existing RAIN RFID reader solutions and use cases algorithms
  • Label and prepare existing data sets for machine learning experiments
  • Propose and test machine learning models with existing data sets
  • Evaluate performance of proposed models against performance of existing system
  • Work primarily in our Impinj Design Lab (IDL) in Beacon Hill.
  • Develop reports or presentations to summarize and communicate results and progress.
