What are the eligibility requirements for the Post Production Intern position?
To be eligible for the Post Production Intern position, you must meet one of the following criteria: currently be an undergraduate studying at university and applying for a placement year in your 2nd or final year; graduating from your undergraduate degree in Summer 2025; or looking for employment after completing A-Levels or equivalent course or an Apprenticeship. Additionally, you must be eligible to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the internship.
What are the dates for the internship?
The internship runs from Monday, 30th June 2025, to Friday, 17th July 2026.
What will my main responsibilities be as a Post Production Intern?
As a Post Production Intern, you will assist in the smooth daily operation of a busy post-production facility, work closely with the department's IO group, and help manage all media assets stored and used within the facility, with an emphasis on content security.
What skills are required for this internship?
The required skills include meticulous attention to detail, a high level of organizational skills, being a team player, self-motivation with a strong work ethic, the ability to work under tight deadlines, and good communication and people skills.
What will I learn during this internship?
During the internship, you will gain insights into post-production processes, theatrical film operations, and the overall film industry.
Is there an interview process for this position?
Yes, as part of the selection process, external candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview with an NBCUniversal employee at one of their locations prior to a hiring decision.
