What is the duration of the internship?
The internship is a 12-month position beginning in July 2025.
What qualifications do I need to apply for this internship?
You need to be studying for a relevant undergraduate or Master's degree and be required to take a placement as part of your course, preferably in an engineering background.
Is knowledge of automotive powertrain necessary?
While knowledge or interest in automotive powertrain is desirable, it is not strictly necessary to apply.
Which programming languages should I be familiar with?
Proficiency in any of the following programming languages is desirable: Python, Matlab/Simulink, and C.
Will there be opportunities for professional development during the internship?
Yes, as a Bosch intern, you will benefit from on-the-job training in a supportive working environment to develop your personal and professional skills.
Is there a requirement for a full UK driving license?
A full UK driving license is desired but not mandatory for all applicants.
How will candidates be selected for interviews?
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in a face-to-face interview by the hiring team and/or an online assessment centre.
Can international students apply for this position?
You must have the right to live and work in the UK when you start your placement and for its duration. Your placement must also be directly relevant to your course to comply with visa requirements.
What type of tasks will I be doing as an intern?
Task may include supporting vehicle test team with task tracking and reporting, developing test automation tools, executing test scripts on HiL test setups, and assisting in technical tasks like measurement data analysis and debugging.

The internship position is based at the BWTC, Coventry site.
