Requirements

  • Education/Certification:
  • Enrolled in or graduated from a bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other Engineering discipline
  • Overall Experience:
  • Prior internship experience a plus
  • Experience with SAE automotive projects desired
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook required
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm to learn about automotive technologies required
  • Analytical and administrative skills required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality analysis from multiple sources to establish trends; analyze improvement and efficiency; and determine new concerns for action and improvement.
  • Support part collection, root cause analysis, vehicle evaluation, countermeasure effectiveness assessment
  • Assess software performance of head unit technologies within Kia lineup
  • Support logistical efforts during the countermeasure development and deployment to on time efficient use of resources.
  • Exposure to vehicle telematics investigations as used for ICE, HEV, PHEV and EV models, including Over the Air technology deployment.
  • Any other duties assigned by the supervisor. This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented and changed, as necessary.
