Description

Scope of work :

  • Planning/ UX strategy, wireframing, creating mockups, creating prototypes, user testing, workshops/brainstorming, handing off design specs to engineers, collaboration with cross-functional partners, presentations 

Tools used:

  • Primary: Figma, FigJam, MS Office, Slack, Zoom 
  • Secondary: Adobe Creative Suite, Usertesting.com, Analytic Dashboards (ie. Amplitude, Adobe Analytics etc.)  

Requirements

  • Broad set of design skills and motivation to learn from others.
  • A portfolio demonstrating design projects that highlight your design process from ideation to execution. (Website, PDF, or any other digital format)
  • Working proficiency in Figma or similar design tool (ie. Sketch, Adobe XD etc.)
  • Experience with prototyping using tools such as Figma, InVision, Proto.io etc.
  • Understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
  • Knowledge of user interface design principles
  • Experience designing for different platforms (web, mobile & desktop) and screen sizes.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions.
  • Familiarity with design systems
  • Basic understanding of accessibility principles and guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail

  • Collaborate closely with other designers, product, marketing, engineering, and business teams to develop data-driven design solutions 
  • Design meaningful experiences by balancing user and business needs. 
  • Participate in sharing work in progress, while receiving and providing feedback to other designers.
  • Work with research team to conduct research to gain insights about your proposed designs if needed 
  • Develop knowledge of competitive and complementary products, stay informed on emerging design trends and tools, and share innovative ideas and opportunities with the team 
  • Create deliverables such as wireframes, mockups & prototypes in Figma, using the design system, existing components and design patterns at Chegg.
