Requirements

  • A rising junior, senior year student, or recent graduate (including boot camps and or other related programs)
  • Experience with Design Systems (a plus)
  • Eager to learn and work with various departments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in Figma and Adobe Suite
  • Portfolio with a solid foundation in human-centered design practices that showcases strong interaction and interface design skills
  • Strong ability to iterate through the design process, give and receive critiques, and incorporate feedback
  • Great organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently

Responsibilities

  • Lead the evolution of Blank Street's Design System from auditing our system, documenting our components and creating guidelines, building components and sticker sheets, building components, and expanding on Figma tooling
  • Assist in designing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for Blank Street's digital products
  • Collaborate with the product design team and developers to improve the design system and app features, iterate and oversee user experience of a product from conception to launch
  • Receive high-level direction and produce detailed wireframes, visual compositions, and prototypes to communicate design intent and action upon client and user feedback
  • Manage project timelines and share status updates with Product & Engineering Team
