Description

  • At Zeta, we design intelligent and meaningful tools that empower marketers to do their best work and make informed decisions with as little effort as possible.
  • As a product design intern, you’ll learn about how our design team works to deliver experiences which wrangle the complexity of our platform to deliver a clear, coherent, and satisfying experience from start to finish. As a Zeta Product Design Intern, you’ll learn about our design system, component use and creation, and have an opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional partners like Product Mangers, Developers and other Product Designers. As a fully remote design team, being present and possessing excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential to the success of our team.

Requirements

  • You must have experience working with Figma.
  • You’re able to speak to and execute on the design process and user centered design practices.
  • You’re able to simplify complex concepts and tell a compelling story with visuals and words.
  • You are organized and keep track of resources needed to complete projects or tasks.
  • You’re a critical and analytical thinker.
  • You’re able to ideate and generate supporting design artifacts quickly.
  • You have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • You’re a good listener and seek feedback from others.
  • You’re able to consider input provided from various stakeholders and reflect on it using different perspectives when forming opinions and recommendations.
  • You will be expected to share a portfolio of school projects or work samples showcasing design methods, creativity, and depth of thought coupled with fluency in best practices for UX design, visual design, and prototyping.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Graduate student or some post-undergrad work.
  • Familiarity with multiple design and/or prototyping programs.
  • Ability to create clear, intuitive, and visually appealing human interfaces. (UI)
  • Data-driven decision making.
  • Demonstrated impact of design deliverables after they have been developed.
  • Understanding and prior use of user journeys.
  • Familiarity with marketing software or platforms.
  • Experience with creating marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Gain an understanding of Zeta Global, our brand, key differentiators in the industry and how they align to meet customer needs.
  • Contribute to Zeta’s templating system by helping us migrate key screens in our platform from Sketch into Figma.
  • With the support of a product design mentor, you’ll work on a cross-functional team to translate complex user and business needs into useful, intuitive, scalable and innovative experiences.
  • Use design thinking and human-centered design skills to create intuitive and elegant product design solutions that solve user needs and drive business results.
  • Actively participate in team meetings such as, our Layer Level Jams, Product Design Check-ins and Design Reviews.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Developers, and Quality Assurance team members throughout the discovery, design and development processes.
  • Regularly share your ideas with your direct and cross-functional teams – elevating your rationale, while inviting new ideas to the table and working to generate alignment and excitement as we solve a shared problem.
  • Create visual artifacts to articulate, inform and validate ideas with users and stakeholders (prototypes, wireframes, sketches, journey maps, personas, etc.)
  • Share a brief final presentation about your projects, process and accomplishments during your internship at Zeta.
