  • In this role you will support the Product Development Team who are responsible for making incremental improvements or innovations to our existing portfolio of income generating activity including events and sports, Individual Giving, Legacies and Fundraising Campaigns. The Campaigns Team is responsible for managing CRUK’s digital fundraising platforms (internal and external) to optimise supporter journeys and maximise income. The team is also responsible for the delivery of CRUK’s main campaigns including Stand Up to Cancer and Social Fundraising. We sit under one Head of Department and this role would be primarily to support the Product Development Team but also some Fundraising Campaigns work including SU2C.

Area of Responsibilities

Business, Operations & Strategy


  • Work with the Product Development team to support on the development of products including tests aligning to Social Fundraising Strategy (TikTok & Meta) and launching our Cancer Recovery Hub.
  • Support Product Development Managers with day-to-day project development including preparing for workshops & deep diving into areas of interest.
  • Work with the Consumer Insights Team to deliver Horizon Scanning report
  • Understand charity landscape and make recommendations for future innovations or areas of potential opportunity.
  • Supporting on the Stand Up To Cancer staff fundraising campaign
  • Opportunity to support cross-portfolio teams

  • Stage 2: Assessment:
  • If your initial application is successful you will then be invited to complete our new situational judgment test. The test poses real life scenarios that a CRUK intern might be met with in their day to day role and asks how you would tackle that scenario. This is un-timed and multiple choice. Please let us know if you think you might require adjustments for this assessment.  
  • Stage 3: Audio Submission: 
  • If you are successful in the previous stage, you will be asked to complete an audio submission, answering competency-based questions. The questions will be emailed to you and you will have a few days to submit a response via an audio recording (no video required).    
  • Stage 4: Interviews:  
  • If you are successful in the previous stage, you will then be invited to a face-to-face interview at our head office with representatives from the team you are applying to.
