Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year Fashion design degree-seeking program as a third or fourth-year student
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional organization skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
  • Understand the basics of Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Proficient at CADing & digital sketching
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic

Responsibilities

  • Product Support:
  • Researching, tracking, assigning and entering style names
  • Photographing final proto samples for Assortment Review
  • Creating and maintaining physical and digital design boards and merch toolkit (on order docs, visual equipment library)
  • Assisting design & merchandising in setting up monthly assortment decks (SMS material selection & assortment review)
  • Sketching & CADs:
  • Setting up the Photoshop files to help facilitate CADS
  • Creating color CADs as directed by Design & Merch teams
  • Assisting with the setup and maintenance of SMS BOMs
  • Assisting in the research runway, influencer trends, materials and colors
  • Assist in sketching with direction from Merchandising and Design
  • Office Organization & Admin:
  • Setting up the office for assortment reviews & wholesale market meetings
  • Attending fit sessions and assist in setup/cleanup
  • Managing receipt of samples - Sending, receive and tracking shoe shipments to ensure on-time delivery
  • Sample management of design references and development samples
  • Data entry & PIM updates as needed (style creation, retail updates, attribute updates)
