Requirements

  • Field of Study: Candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree and background in Marketing, Communications, or similar.
  • Undergrad - Rising juniors and seniors
  • Available from May 2024 - November 2024
  • Hybrid in-person schedule 3 days weekly, up to 28 hours maximum
  • Available during core working hours of 10 AM - 3 PM Eastern
  • Preferred Skillset:
  • Be detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Have the ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • High sense of responsibility and be able to work independently.
  • Have competency in Microsoft Suite products.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and logistical support for domestic and international media events.
  • Collection and analysis of media coverage.
  • Content creation recapping Mercedes-Benz press test drives, vehicle launches and product activations to be distributed to all MBUSA colleagues and beyond.
  • Creating and editing articles and texts for various channels, for example press releases
  • Assist with the ordering of press fleet vehicles and overall fleet inventory throughout the entire lifecycle, ensuring efficient rotation to key regions based on media priorities and weather patterns and shipments across the United States.
  • Assisting with the processing of press inquiries, creating Q&As, briefings, PowerPoint presentations, etc.
  • Curating database efficiencies.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
