  • The successful candidate will be in the in the process of completing an degree with an option to take an Industrial Placement year before finalising their studies.
  • You will have good communication skills at all levels and will be confident working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and working with senior stakeholders.
  • With strong Excel and Powerpoint skills you will be able to produce detailed reports and effective presentations.
  • Self-motivated, determined and creative you will push to overcome obstacles and deliver results ensuring that all deadlines are met.
  • This placement opportunity will provide excellent development opportunities for students in a range of academic disciplines from STEM to Business.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the VP, Senior Production Development Manager & Site Directors in delivering various Business Plan projects which could include:
  • Energy and Waste reduction activities
  • Digital Transformation activities
  • Supporting the Senior Manager Production Development & Senior Finance Business Partner in Capital Investment co-ordination across nine sites, both in terms of operational & strategic spend
  • Ensuring projects are fully documented, to an agreed format/template
  • Gathering information cross-functionally, often to tight deadlines
  • Working in collaboration with a range of cross functional stakeholders & site representatives
