Requirements

  • High energy individual with a passion for project management and a willingness to learn about enterprise project management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take initiative when needed.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
  • Availability to work consistently 40 hours per week throughout the Summer in our New York Office.
  • QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in business, finance, or a related field. Project management coursework is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in project management, financial services, or related industries is a plus.
  • Prior internship or work experience in a professional setting is desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project managers and business analysts to assist in project planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Conduct research projects to provide insights and support decision-making processes within the firm.
  • Assist with a variety of operational projects across different business areas, ensuring adherence to project timelines and objectives.
  • Help organize project artifacts, including documentation, reports, and meeting minutes, to ensure accurate record-keeping and easy retrieval of project-related information.
  • Act as a business analyst, gathering and documenting requirements, analyzing data, and providing recommendations based on insights gained.
  • Serve as a project coordinator, ensuring effective communication among project stakeholders, scheduling meetings, and supporting project-related activities.
