Requirements

  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Experiences achieving team-oriented objectives
  • Experiences developing and delivering presentations
  • Desired Skills:
  • Exposure to Network scheduling tool (MS Project, Open Plan, Primavera, etc)
  • Critical Path Methodology
  • Schedule oriented mindset
  • Advanced Excel skill set including macros, lookup tables and VBA
  • Exposure to Monte Carlo simulations / Schedule Risk Assessment process/tools
  • Ability to communicate utilizing different techniques and build strong relationships

Responsibilities

  • The Program Planning Interns will have an opportunity to work closely with an experienced Program Planner, performing the day-to-day activities in areas of program planning and scheduling. Interns will have the opportunity to learn and operate industry software applications such as: Microsoft Project, Deltek Open Plan, Milestones Professional, and Schedule Risk Assessment tools to prepare applicable scheduling analysis and metrics. Interns will also attend key program meetings, gather program status, update schedules, analyze results, and employ critical thinking to mitigate and drive successful program performance.
