Responsibilities

  • With a multitude of capital different projects that can range from rehabilitating a runway to extending a fire station to the installation of cutting-edge digital technology security solutions, we focus on attracting, retaining and developing people who share our passion and commitment to delivering change.
  • You will play a fundamental role in Edinburgh Airport’s future success, taking responsibility for the development and early project management of capital projects ensuring the business case, requirements and success measures are fully understood in advance of the design and delivery phases.
  • Development of project business cases.
  • Identification and documentation of project requirements
  • Conducting background research, data collection and benchmarking
  • Managing project timelines and tracking progress.
  • Risk management, producing risk mitigation and contingency plans where necessary.
  • Monitoring and documenting project progress and other key performance indicators
  • Report writing
  • Identifying and sharing lessons learned and opportunities for process improvement, to ensure we are continuously improving our processes.
