  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in project or organizational management; a science related background is a plus, as is a PMP, but not required
  • Experience managing projects and using project management software
  • Understand work breakdown structures, statements of work, and the basics of earned value management
  • Ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders including corporations, educational institutions, non-profit organizations, economic developers, etc.
  • Ability to analyze data and present findings via Excel, PowerPoint, and/or other preferred platforms

Responsibilities

  • Support Activation Capital’s entrepreneurship program by coordinating activities across multiple projects
  • Plan and monitor program execution, budget management, cross-project resource management, risk identification and mitigation, documentation and communication, and continuous alignment of deliverables to meet program objectives
  • Assist with out-sourced service recruitment, procurement, and monitoring - help develop statements of work, deliverable acceptance criteria, and project timelines.
  • Participate in the recommendation and implementation of a suitable project management software package
