Requirements

  • High School diploma.
  • Current enrollment in an engineering program. Preferably at the junior/senior level.
  • Working knowledge of MS office and Windows. SW and Auto Cad knowledge preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all aspects of job responsibilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Cooperative attitude with team-oriented disposition.
  • Flexible schedule and ability to work extra hours as needed.
  • This position will require a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Work with others to assist in the development and implementation of capital projects that will reduce costs and improve operating efficiency.
  • Provide engineering support for new equipment upgrades and special projects in the Injection Molding Department.
  • Convert PDF manufacturing prints into editable 2D and 3D models.
  • Look for improvements/enhancement opportunities and implement them.
  • Lead at least one engineering related project.
  • Perform any other duties established by the Engineering department.
  • Assist with special projects on designated teams.
  • Comply with all company Environmental Health and Safety and Department of Health requirements.
