  • TranSystems is seeking a Public Involvement Specialist – Intern with an entrepreneurial spirit, creating a vision for growth in their personal practice while contributing to the growth of the Transportation Planning and Engineering practice. This key position will be responsible for assisting a wide variety of projects tasks related to public involvement related to corridor planning, bicycle and pedestrian planning, transit planning, land use planning, NEPA/SEPA projects, and aviation projects.


  • Candidate pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Geography, GIS, Planning, Computer Science, Engineering, or other related program.
  • Experience in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and/or Premiere Pro
  • Experience preparing GIS products in accordance with DOT standards and guidance principles desirable
  • Actively engages multiple perspectives when solving problems, seeks to learn from peers, and encourages reciprocal learning among team members.
