What is the duration of the pupillage offered?
The pupillage is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
What areas of law will I be working in during my pupillage?
You will primarily work in public children and adult social care law, with opportunities to gain experience in other areas such as planning, housing, licensing, contracts, regulatory, and enforcement.
What qualifications do I need to apply?
You must have finished both the academic and vocational segments of Bar training.
Will I have opportunities for advocacy during my pupillage?
Yes, you will have opportunities to experience advocacy at all levels of the Family Court, the Court of Protection, and Education Tribunals, and represent client authorities in your second six months.
