What is the duration of the internship?
The Quality Engineering Internship is for the summer of 2025.
What qualifications are required for this internship?
Candidates must be currently enrolled in an Engineering Program and have completed their Sophomore year of College.
Is previous experience in quality engineering required?
Previous experience is not required, but proven problem-solving skills and excellent technical, verbal, and written communication abilities are necessary.
What types of projects will the intern work on?
The intern will work closely with machining and assembly department personnel, identify root causes of manufacturing issues, analyze data, and assist in developing quality systems for new products.
Are there any specific software skills required?
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required.
What is the preferred GPA for candidates?
A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferable.
Will the intern need to work different shifts?
Yes, the intern must be flexible to work portions of day and evening shifts.
Is there a requirement for physical activity?
Yes, the intern must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
How many hours per week should the intern expect to work?
Preference will be given to candidates who can work 40 hours per week.
