The candidate must have advanced training in mathematics, statistics, physics, or a highly quantitative field, strong knowledge of probability and statistics, experience in a data driven research environment, familiarity with NoSQL databases and distributed computing, independent research experience, excellent analytical skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

The quantitative research intern at Citadel LLC in Europe will be responsible for conceptualizing valuation strategies, developing mathematical models, coding algorithms, back testing trading models, utilizing unconventional data sources, conducting research and statistical analysis, and refining monetization systems for trading signals.
