Requirements

  • A basic understanding of financial markets with a keen interest in trading.
  • Someone thats enjoys using technology or maths to solve complex problems.
  • An inquisitive, critical thinker thats creative in innovating new solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Our 3-week Summer Research Internship programme will equip you with basic Quantitive finance knowledge, practical trading skills and research experience that will set you up for success.
  • Week one - Complete the education phase to learn about Quant trading.
  • Week two - Put your learning into practice by competing against your peers in a virtual Quant trading challenge event, focusing on intraday trading of US Equities.
  • Week three - Complete a short Equity research assignment and participate in a project on a new AI platform feature we are building with IBM.

Level2 is an innovative Uk based startup backed by a UK government fund, ABN AMRO Bank and a syndicate of high profile investors with a background in financial services. Having just completed the Techstars accelerator program in December, we are currently working on a final phase of user testing and gathering feedback before we launch the Level2 platform to a global audience of online traders and integrate our application with market leading broker platforms.
