  • This job is in our High Frequency Measurements Center of Excellence (HFM CoE) located at the company headquarters in beautiful Santa Rosa, California, approximately 50 miles north of San Francisco. In the HFM CoE, we develop world-leading products used to design and test next-generation products in cellular communications, satellite systems, automotive collision avoidance, and other high frequency wireless systems.
  • In this position, you will be part of a team developing state-of-the-art software for our market-leading Signal Analyzers. The position involves working collaboratively with other DevOps engineers, software engineers, and IT to deploy and operate our systems, help automate and streamline our operations and processes, build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations, and troubleshoot and resolve issues. You will set up the software development environment to enable Agile innovation and team collaboration, assisting with the configuration of tools, servers, IDE and test environment to make the lab usable and turnkey. The ideal intern is one who is a continuous learner, takes a pro-active approach to solving problems, and enjoys collaborating with other software engineers to deliver high quality solutions.


  • Pursuing BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering with software emphasis, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Design
  • Experience in Python, C/C++/C#, XML, Scripting, Microsoft tools, Atlassian tools, Open source tools
  • Experience with software development, version control, and test
  • Proficient in building, testing, and debugging software
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire to work in a team environment to achieve objectives
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies

  • This is an internship position where you will be part of an Agile team working closely with other DevOps and software engineers.
  • Implement, integrate, and automate tools and tests enabling CI/CD
  • Apply practices and play roles in Agile Scrum
  • Create, maintain, and execute the product software build and product disk image
  • Help peer engineers triage tools errors vs code issues
  • May perform application upgrade, compiler upgrades, infrastructure library changes, etc
