Requirements

  • The Graduate Intern (Retail and Business Management) will proactively lead the student staff team and share their passion for contemporary retailing.
  • You will be expected to identify and build upon successes and test out new ways of generating both store related student learning and enhanced income. The Intern will analyse weekly/monthly/year on year sales (both shop and online sales) and seek opportunities to develop the business.
  • Learning to organise and manage internal and external events and pop-up shops, alongside the recruitment and mentoring of students working in the store on placements are key responsibilities in the role. This is a creative, commercial and business orientated position.

This is a creative, commercial and business orientated role where attention to detail and ability to follow instruction is essential. You will be a proactive, key member of the Re:So team.
  • Re:So is Solent University’s retail initiative, showcasing student and graduate talents across a range of creative disciplines. Our creative students and graduates can use the store as a platform to sell their creations in the campus store or online, gain work experience, or take up mentoring opportunities to help boost their skills and experience.
