Requirements

  • Current college student studying civil or environmental engineering.
  • 0 – 1 year of experience.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Proficiency with MS Office products including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 40lbs.
  • Ability to travel and perform field work (approx. 50-75% of travel required).
  • A Pre-employment drug screening in compliance with state regulations is required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.

Responsibilities

  • Support design and installation of remediation systems.
  • Comfortable working with equipment (i.e., vacuum systems, blowers, pumps, and intrinsically safe electrical systems).
  • Environmental sampling (air, soil, soil vapor, groundwater, surface water) as part of the design or O&M for remediation systems.
  • Ensure quality control for data collection.
  • Strong problem solving, time management, and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Support development of Operations and Maintenance plans.
  • Interface with equipment vendors and request quotes as part of system design and construction.
