Requirements

Enrolled in or recently graduated from a university degree program in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related area. Must have a strong interest in real estate and research. Some international experience may be considered an asset.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills; detail-oriented and proficient in building and handling complicated data sets.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate and present results that articulate key themes and messages.
Must be able to allocate time effectively and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, handle multiple demands and competing priorities, and adapt to new ideas and change. Comfortable following direction but also contributing to the direction.
Must have advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Must be extremely proactive and work well in a collaborative environment, with the ability to take guidance but then move projects forward independently.

Previous experience working within the institutional investment/real estate industry, or another related sector or industry is beneficial (but not required).

Responsibilities

Support the analysis of global real estate market trends by tracking and interpreting data on economics, demographics, and capital markets
Support real estate investment underwriting and Investment Committee Memos by providing market analysis
Conduct research on international markets, investment themes, and trends (e.g. Europe, Asia Pacific, United States)
Assist in the development of investment strategies based on real estate market analysis and forecasts
Contribute to and assist in the development of presentations on market trends and strategies
Contribute to multiple research projects
