Requirements

  • Pursuing PhD degree in computer science or related field; or equivalent research experience
  • Hands on experience with text-to-image generative models
  • Strong research track record. E.g. have published in top tier conferences including NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, CVPR, ICCV; and journals including JMLR and TPAMI, etc.
  • Strong coding skills: ability to quickly prototype in Python
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Desired:
  • Interest in human in the loop and interactive solutions
  • Experience mentoring other researchers
  • Experience working in industry and collaborating with product groups.
  • Hands on experience with large language models and vision-language models (e.g. CLIP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and participating in cutting-edge research projects, focusing on interactive generative models.
  • Devising and prototyping innovative solutions in collaboration with product teams.
  • Mentoring research interns.
  • External engagement: drafting academic publications, giving talks and collaborating with academic leaders.
