Description

  • Porsche Cars Canada Internship opportunities are designed to promote both career development and functional expertise for the intern, as well as to complete project-related and day-to-day support for the department.
  • We are looking for a Retail Business Development Intern starting May 2024 for a 6-12 month tenure to provide support to the Porsche Cars Canada Retail Development Department in all relevant aspects.
  • The Retail Business Development Intern will primarily assist the Manager, Retail Business Development in analyzing Porsche Centre performance, developing and updating key performance indicators (KPIs), and creating presentations and reports utilized during regular Dealer consulting visits. This individual will be responsible for generating monthly financial reports for Management and Regionals. The position will also maintain our Dealer Directory, Dealer Action Plans, and sustainment of compliance initiatives.

Requirements

  • Education:
  • Recent graduate of an accredited college diploma or bachelor’s degree program in business administration, commerce or marketing
  • Previous internships in corporate environments preferred
  • Experience or knowledge in automotive would be ideal
  • Languages (French) is an asset but not a requirement
  • Skills/Competencies:
  • Exceptional Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to solve advanced problems and trouble-shoot complex issues
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to manage and oversee several activities at once
  • Proficient working in a multi-cultural environment
  • Desire for continuous development and learning opportunities
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Valid full driver’s license required at time of interview (Ex: Ontario G1 or G2 NOT permitted)
