  • GitHub helps companies and organizations succeed by allowing them to build better software together, faster. As an intern on the Revenue team, you will work closely with GitHub’s senior leaders to put developers - our customers - in a position to push the boundaries of what’s possible so they can make the world better. Our team is composed of talented individuals in Corporate Sales and Revenue Operations & Enablement.
  • As a Revenue Intern at GitHub, we will teach you the ins-and-outs of the software development lifecycle, our products, and how we differentiate ourselves from the competition. You'll learn how to research companies and engage with customers while working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and highly supportive work environment. Plus, you'll have a little fun while you are at it!


  • Required Qualifications:
  • You are currently in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or similar area of study with with at least one quarter/semester to complete after the internship
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Passion for GitHub and our mission to make developers' lives better
  • A desire to learn more about a Revenue organization at a high-technology company, with an eye on a career in sales or revenue operations/enablement/analytics
  • The ability to empathize with every aspect of the customer experience
  • Experience or interest in coding
  • Comfortable collecting and prioritizing input from various stakeholders on a project
  • Passionate about learning new tools and technology and implementing them
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Collaborative and team oriented

  • Work on potential Corporate Sales projects such as…
  • Participate in discovery calls with Sales Development Representatives to understand the qualification process, capture key feedback points in Salesforce.com, and assist as needed with a go-forward plan
  • Learn how customers are leveraging GitHub products to transform how they develop software
  • Identify ways to help make our current lead generation process even better
  • Experience the sales process in the context of a fast-moving technology Sales team, leveraging data to make data centric business decisions, focused on how to engage current and prospective customers
  • Work on potential Revenue Operations & Enablement projects such as…
  • Ensure process documentation is up to date
  • Assist with creating frameworks for change enablement, including training and communications
  • Build Salesforce reports and performing data analysis around hygiene and investigate whether there are data holes
  • Perform data analysis to highlight trends in the business
  • Assist Revenue Enablement in building learning programs, workshops, and content
  • Learn how to use learning creation and design tools to assist in the development of self-directed learning.
  • At the end of your internship, you will provide the Leadership team with a summary of lessons learned.
