Responsibilities

  • The purpose of the Internship is to give the Intern an overview of the Company and Hotel organization and understand the role of the different departments
  • Within the specific department the Intern will shadow and actively support the Tutor in order to acquire professional skills. In particular:
  • Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally
  • Check availability of accommodations and dates to create a better Marriott experience or event, including finding alternative dates or options if first choice is not available, recognizing opportunities to up-sell the customer and sell enhancements.
  • Manage mailing list/database
  • Work on “Sales Presentation” and sales reports
  • Maintain guest loyalty to Marriott implementing new members for Marriott loyalty programs.
  • Support Team Sales in back-office activities.
  • Follow sellers during a site inspection to improve sales modalities and customer service
  • Receive, record, and relay messages accurately, completely, and legibly
