Requirements

  • Qualifications:
  • Need to reside in Las Vegas, NV where position is based
  • Currently Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems or other Business-related education from a university or college
  • Must be able to stay on for two or more semesters
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours up to a maximum of 25 hours per week
  • Must be in a degreed program the whole time while employed as an intern
  • Must have a GPA at 3.0 or higher
  • Basic knowledge of relational database concepts and SQL writing skills
  • Basic knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Einstein Analytics, SAP Reporting, or other tools used for BI reporting § Must have basic knowledge of/skills in Microsoft operating systems and applications
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes fast
  • Ability to test systems while keeping thorough documentation
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot problems within systems
  • Ability to manage project and deadlines
  • Candidates must demonstrate good documentation skills, communication skills, good logical reasoning and analytical ability in solving challenges

Responsibilities

  • The Sales Strategy Intern will help with planning and implementing projects that support the sales organization.
  • Work closely with sales, by liaising with gaming operations and product management departments to reach projected quarterly numbers.
  • Ad-Hoc Requests to help support the sales strategy and sales operations team.
  • Support the sales team in developing effective long-term customer account plans to build IGT’s long term partnerships and value we offer the customer.
  • Support the sales team in developing and continuously improving sales tactics for each customer, product, or service line for assigned customers to meet or exceed established customer-specific sales goals.
  • Support in the creation of Sales Bonus Plans (SPIFS) tied to driving incremental placements, machine sales, software and hardware sales, overall revenue generation to hit Quarterly and Year Targets.
  • Support in gathering needed information related to structuring product promotions that will drive incremental MJP placements into the North America Install Base to help generate additional revenue for the organization.
  • Supporting the Sales team in creating bundling opportunities across the Product portfolio at an account level.
  • Help to Track, monitor, and report on key sale
