Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive manual test scripts based on project requirements, specifications, and user stories.
  • Ensure that test scripts cover positive scenarios, edge cases, and potential error conditions.
  • Collaborate with teams to understand feature specifications and user expectations.
  • Create detailed test cases that encompass various aspects of functionality, usability, and system integration.
  • Execute positive testing to validate that the system functions as expected under normal conditions.
  • Conduct negative testing to identify potential vulnerabilities, error handling, and system robustness.
  • Explore different data sets and scenarios to simulate real-world usage and potential user errors.
  • Document test results, highlighting both successful and unsuccessful test cases.
  • Cleary communicate findings to relevant stakeholders, providing insights into the quality of the system.
  • Participate in regular status meetings to update teams on testing progress and any potential risks.
  • Collaborate with the testing teams to transition manual test cases into automated test scripts.
