What is the duration of the internship?
The internship is for the summer of 2025.
Where is the internship located?
The internship is based out of our Houston, TX office.
What qualifications are required for this internship?
Candidates must currently be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology/Hydrogeology, or a related field.
Will I receive training during the internship?
Yes, interns may receive training on multi-media compliance, RCRA waste management, soil and groundwater sampling, monitoring well installation, and overall operations and maintenance for remediation systems.
What kind of tasks will I be expected to perform?
Interns will work on report writing, data management, and field equipment maintenance, as well as assist project managers and engineers with various environmental engineering solutions and project goals.
Is previous experience in Environmental Health & Safety required?
No previous experience is required, but candidates should demonstrate a strong motivation, curiosity, and a thirst for knowledge.
What skills are needed to succeed in this internship?
Successful candidates will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent organizational skills, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and the initiative to assist staff with various tasks.
