Requirements

  • Prior internship experience in post-production field
  • Experience with a non-linear editing platform (Avid/Final Cut/Adobe Premier)
  • Junior or Senior year preferred
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Film/ Video Production major (or minor) with either some background in Film, Television, Communication, and/or Visual Effects.
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
  • Fully available from 5 days of the week, 9am – 6 pm PST for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Burbank, CA area
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

Responsibilities

  • Collecting and distributing a daily newsletter (relevant news and daily trends)
  • Reading incoming project submissions and providing feedback
  • Reading project drafts and providing feedback
  • Compiling lists of writers, directors and cast for various projects
  • Participating in industry or project related research projects
