Requirements

  • The successful candidate must be currently enrolled in an engineering collegiate academic program for 2025/26 (either a junior, senior, or graduate student)
  • Strong understanding of Engineering disciplines
  • Must have basic understanding of semiconductor fundamentals (transistors, diodes, microcontrollers, power electronics, etc)
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Natural problem solver and ability to derive solutions to technical issues.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Technical, Dedicated, Self-Motivated, Curious, Team-player, Driven
  • Preferred – Familiarity with embedded systems and SW, ECU functionality, automotive standards, and/or software defined vehicle architectures is a plus
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update latest industry roadmap of different semiconductor technologies
  • Research trends and advancements in automotive semiconductor technologies (e.g., SoC, MCU, SiC, Communications (Ethernet, Serializers, Deserializers), External Memory)
  • Support and lead projects related to semiconductor selection and technical specification evaluations
  • Collaborate with interfacing teams such as semiconductor procurement, electrical architecture, HW design, ADAS, on-board SW, functional safety, cybersecurity, and more
  • Act as a junior liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders (e.g. suppliers, IDMs)
  • Participate in technical reviews and semiconductor supplier discussions
  • Perform other duties as required
