Responsibilities

  • Under general direction, the Senior Program Leader will plan, coordinate and implement educational and recreational activities including: tutoring, sports, games, mini-excursions, competitive activities, contests, seminars, and special events; compile program/activity descriptions; maintain inventory of supplies and materials; collect and submit participant rosters, attendance sheets, registration forms, monthly statistical reports and other program data; instruct staff, tutors and/or volunteers in the implementation of programs and activities; monitor and evaluate daily activities and make recommendations for improvement; refer staff, volunteers and participants to program administration for recognition of achievements or for disciplinary action; provide general center support, driving and perform other related duties as assigned. Participate cooperatively in work team activities; answer telephone and provide customer assistance over the telephone or in person; maintain a clean and safe work environment conducive to studying and learning; make presentations to members of the community; perform other related duties as assigned.
