Requirements

  • Working towards an Undergraduate degree or diploma in Data Analytics, Computer Science or Business Intelligence
  • Motivated self-starters with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic work environment with a willingness to work outdoors. Some positions will be required to operate vehicles at our operations
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite and Power BI required
  • Previous work experience in a technical environment is an asset
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Participation in the health and safety programs of Teck to ensure that everyone on site goes home safe and healthy everyday
  • Develop Business Intelligence Reporting practices
  • Gather, process and analyze data from different data sources
  • Support data cleanup and migration efforts
  • Create and utilize data visualization products using applications such as Power BI Dashboards
  • Assist with the rollout of reporting improvement efforts
  • Create and evaluate innovative ideas and technologies to help improve the way we do business
  • Some coding may be required (Python/R Programming)
