Requirements

  • Working towards an Undergraduate degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields
  • Motivated self-starters with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic work environment with a willingness to work outdoors. Some positions will be required to operate vehicles at our operations
  • Previous work experience in a technical environment is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Participation in the health and safety programs of Teck to ensure that everyone on site goes home safe and healthy everyday
  • Collaborate with a team to continually improve the current mining systems across the operations to improve production, quality, reliability, accessibility, and credibility of Teck Digital Systems
  • Collaborate with help desk and network operations teams to determine and resolve end user issues
  • Plan, coordinate, and communicate all system changes
  • Create and evaluate innovative ideas and technologies to help improve the way we do business
