Description

  • We are currently seeking an AP/AR Intern to join our PBS Shared Services department and be based in our St Louis headquarters.

Requirements

  • College undergraduate status for those currently pursuing the following majors: Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Project Management, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Human Resources, Organizational Management, Information Systems; other relevant majors may also be considered.
  • Peabody utilizes SAP as its enterprise software, along with ServiceNow to action tickets.
  • The successful candidate will be provided an opportunity to acquire hands-on experience with this application.
  • Microsoft: Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Power Automate, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint
  • Ability to learn SAP and other software, including but not limited to ServiceNow
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in data and root cause analysis
  • Strong customer service focus and orientation
  • Flexible and willing to support in multiple functional areas
  • Physical requirements:
  • Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing.
  • Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment.
  • Must be able to use a computer.
  • Some positions may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

Responsibilities

  • Shipment-to-Cash (S2C): Customer Invoicing, Sales Accounting, Taxes and Royalties, Accounts Receivable, Customer Collections and Receipts; General Accounting, Reconciliations, Audit Support.
  • Procure-to-Pay (P2P): Master Data Management, Procurement, Vendor Agreements and Insurance, B2B, Purchase Order Creation and Change, Vendor Invoice Exception Workflow, Accounts Payable.
  • Hire-to-Retire (H2R): Employee Services, Benefits Administration, Payroll, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Duties may be both projects oriented as well as daily operational responsibilities.
