The ideal candidate for the Silicon Physical Design Engineer Intern position at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) should have a strong understanding of digital logic design and optimization, proficiency in scripting languages such as TCL, Perl, Python, or Ruby, and knowledge of circuit issues like signal coupling/noise, IR, and electromigration. Furthermore, the candidate should be pursuing a Masters or Bachelors degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

The candidate will be responsible for transforming design ideas into real silicon, solving unique logic design issues, and gaining hands-on experience with high-end microprocessors, specifically working on some of the fastest CPU designs in the world.
