Requirements

  • Undergraduate or Graduate candidates pursuing degrees science of management degrees related to Data Analytics and Sustainability
  • Education / Majors: Current sophomore or junior undergraduates pursuing a BA/BS from an accredited college or university and majoring in Data Science, or Data Analytics with strong technical or analytical aptitude (preferred)
  • Availability: 40 hours per week from June to August
  • Work Authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
  • Prior internship or co-op experience (preferred)
  • Demonstrated leadership potential
  • Strong analytical, writing, presentation and critical-thinking skills
  • Industry knowledge and/or interest

Responsibilities

  • This position is Remote. Some travel may be required.
  • This internship is a 8-week program where you will rotate through various departments within the Enterprise Program Management Office, all focusing on smart buildings and sustainable infrastructure.
  • 60% of your time will be spent on project management related activities (learning how to manage a construction project, on-the-job training, and shadowing, etc.).
  • 20% of your time with be spent with the PMO analytics team learning how we go-to-market and sell our analytics services.
  • 20% of your time will be spent in our service department, focusing on the service-related tasks needed to deliver world class service to Siemens customers.
  • The goal of this internship program is to develop future talent for the Siemens organization and help you identify where you may be interested in pursuing a career at Siemens post-graduation.
  • Working alongside current Solutions Project Managers and Analysts to support:
  • Develop project delivery plans and program analyses designed to help customers visualize pathways to achieving their sustainability goals
  • Complete research related to public frameworks (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Smartsheet, etc.)
  • Develop and manage project tracking, report submittals, metric guidance, and construction progress analysis
  • Support preparations for and participate in customer meetings
  • Develop written, database, and presentation deliverables for internal and external customers
  • Facilitate development of new tools and materials to advance ESG consulting services and offerings
