Requirements

Undergraduate or Graduate candidates pursuing degrees science of management degrees related to Data Analytics and Sustainability
Education / Majors: Current sophomore or junior undergraduates pursuing a BA/BS from an accredited college or university and majoring in Data Science, or Data Analytics with strong technical or analytical aptitude (preferred)
Availability: 40 hours per week from June to August
Work Authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
Prior internship or co-op experience (preferred)
Demonstrated leadership potential
Strong analytical, writing, presentation and critical-thinking skills
Industry knowledge and/or interest

Responsibilities

This position is Remote. Some travel may be required.
This internship is a 8-week program where you will rotate through various departments within the Enterprise Program Management Office, all focusing on smart buildings and sustainable infrastructure.
60% of your time will be spent on project management related activities (learning how to manage a construction project, on-the-job training, and shadowing, etc.).
20% of your time with be spent with the PMO analytics team learning how we go-to-market and sell our analytics services.
20% of your time will be spent in our service department, focusing on the service-related tasks needed to deliver world class service to Siemens customers.
The goal of this internship program is to develop future talent for the Siemens organization and help you identify where you may be interested in pursuing a career at Siemens post-graduation.
Working alongside current Solutions Project Managers and Analysts to support:
Develop project delivery plans and program analyses designed to help customers visualize pathways to achieving their sustainability goals
Complete research related to public frameworks (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Smartsheet, etc.)
Develop and manage project tracking, report submittals, metric guidance, and construction progress analysis
Support preparations for and participate in customer meetings
Develop written, database, and presentation deliverables for internal and external customers
Facilitate development of new tools and materials to advance ESG consulting services and offerings
