What is the SOAR program?
The SOAR program is Scotiabank’s 24-month development program designed exclusively for Indigenous Peoples who are completing post-secondary education, providing them with rotational opportunities to learn and apply skills within the bank.
Who is eligible to apply for the SOAR program?
To be eligible, candidates must identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples of Canada) and have or will complete an apprenticeship, certificate, diploma, undergraduate, or graduate degree between April 2023 and June 2025.
What is the duration of the SOAR program?
The SOAR program lasts for 24 months.

Do applicants need to submit a resume?
No, applicants do not need to submit a traditional resume. Instead, they are required to complete a PLUM Profile and upload a screenshot of it as part of their application.
