Requirements

  • Actively pursuing a full-time bachelor’s degree with graduation date between December 2024 – May 2025
  • Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week for the entire 10-week internship program duration, taking place between June – August 2024
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorship
  • Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s)
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing or Journalism (or related degree)
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and social media
  • Experience with social media content development and channel management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to take direction, work independently and manage own time as appropriate
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to pick up on new processes quickly
  • Highly communicative with colleagues/team members
  • Strong writing and editing skills and familiarity writing in AP style
  • Basic understanding of social media use in a corporate setting
  • Loves storytelling and is able to craft raw ideas into compelling messages
  • Ability to think holistically and on a global scale

Responsibilities

  • Source and draft social media posts for various FTI Consulting channels
  • Research emerging social media trends and platforms
  • Conduct competitive analysis across key social media platforms
  • Create compelling social media graphics in Canva
  • Brainstorm campaign ideas and/or strategies for increasing engagement
  • Assist in creating and analyzing metrics reports
  • Schedule social media posts in Sprout Social
  • Help monitor and respond to comments across FTI Consulting channels
  • Maintain and organize social media resources on FTI Consulting’s intranet
  • Develop a 2025 social media holidays/observances calendar
