Description

  • We are currently looking for a Software Analyst Intern to join us for an 8 or 12 month internship at our Toronto office.
  • As a member of a collaborative development team, the individual in this role will work within the Engineering Environment team with key directions on providing development, analysis, automation and testing against the infrastructure available in our organization, in order to support Thales Ground Transportation Systems.

Requirements

  • Required Skills and Experience:
  • The successful candidate should be working towards a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Computer/Systems Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Fluent in English both in written and oral communication skills
  • Able to work full time hours (40 hours) with the start date and the agreed work term
  • Knowledge in Web Development. Scripting (Python, Groovy, PowerShell, etc.), automation
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Virtualization (VMware, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
  • Experience with JIRA
  • Experience with GIT/ BitBucket
  • Experience with Artifactory
  • Experience with Jenkins / Continuous Integration

  • Develop supporting scripts that will enhance current engineering infrastructure and tools
  • Prepare dashboard/metrics that will be used for global business line reporting
  • Participate in front end development for our current transformation activities
