- Our Software Developer Interns are an integral part of our UK teams and the Amadeus family. They’re assigned to run critical tech projects that are rolled out internally or for customers (some of the world’s most recognized airlines and airports).
- Whatever the project or team you join, you’ll be part of a collaborative, supportive group where you can learn from some of the best minds in the industry. You’ll learn new technologies and implement your ideas to produce tools and solutions that directly impact our business operations.

Software Engineering
Responsibilities
- Analyzing customer needs to create new software(s) or to improve existing one(s)
- Run feasibility studies and design software technology(ies)
- Develop software(s) by following Amadeus standards and quality guidelines
- Present your solutions to various stakeholders, including Product Managers & users to get feedback
- Run unit and performance tests to ensure reliability
- Go through the validation phases to ensure our software works for other people
- Fine-tune our software(s) as a result of all tests
- Produce software documentation necessary for the application and issuing it to the requesting departments
Requirements
- You’re pursuing Bachelor/Master’s degree studies in Computer Science or related technical field or a degree from one of the other STEM topics
- You’re fluent in English
- You’ll ideally have basic knowledge of software development
- You’ve studied or experimented with C, C++ and/or Java, J2EE languages
- You’ve heard of or worked with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, Java/Swing or AngularJS
- You’ve heard of or worked with RDBMS/SQL (Oracle preferred), NoSQL (MongoDB, Hadoop database), Standard Template Library and Unix/Linux
- You can easily adapt to the constant evolution of the software technologies
- You’ll have the willingness to learn, share your ideas, and improve yourself every day
